The registry assigns authorization codes at the time of domain name registration. When you register a new domain name with us, we store and maintain your authorization code, if required. For domain names that require authorization codes, the code is needed when you transfer the domain name from one registrar to another. Using these instructions, you can obtain the authorization code for your domain name.
